Josh’s House VT is a Veteran-designed recreation space complete with game rooms, a gym, meeting and study spaces and a commercial-sized kitchen. It’s a place for veterans to relax, learn, eat, and just hang out. Inspired by the tragic suicide of her son Josh Pallotta, Val Pallotta has worked relentlessly to make Josh’s House a reality. Believing that one suicide a day is too many, that Post Traumatic Stress isn’t a limiting factor, and that we are all strongest when we come together, Josh’s House seeks to provide respite to any veteran at no cost.
Veterans Count Vermont gives veterans and service members a hand up – never a hand out. We offer one on one care coordination through Easterseals Vermont Military and Veterans Services. Veterans Count also provides emergency financial assistance for everything from diapers to car repairs to mortgage payments, no matter how long a veteran served or how they were discharged.
